Six year old “brown dog” mix.
Denver. Six month old schnauzer/pug mix (also known as a schnug). Shot in Northern Liberties (The Piazza at Schmidts ). A beautiful fall day in Philly for taking photographs of Denver and her two hip dads! Originally posted back in October on the lost blog. Re-posting it now because her photos are so cute! Four months old. Cocker Spaniel.
As most of you may already know, Britain passed away on the last day of summer in 2009. He had a rare and aggressive form of cancer known as histiocytic sarcoma and it ended his life not even a week after I discovered he had it. I wrote many things about Britain on my old blog and I still have them all saved. Instead of re-posting all of the things I wrote, I decided to just post some picture of him instead for now. Each photo brings me back to him more than my words ever could.

So, as most of you know by now, Off The Leash’s blog got destroyed by a server error and was unable to be restored due to my failure to properly back up and maintain my blog posts. After a week of frustration, anger and trying to convince myself that my data could somehow be saved, I realized I was wasting my time and creative energy. Not to mention stressing myself out completely! With that said, I’ve created a new blog for Off The Leash Portraits and decided to commit more time into posting photographs and sharing my clients stories. Please check back for updates, I promise they’ll be interesting!
